Chairman’s Desk

“Children are not vessels to be filled but lamps to be lit.”

chairmanEducationists opine that each of us is unique. Each personality has its own strengths and weaknesses. Our personality is the key part of our identity. Each personality has his own God given talents. Some dormant in the individual and some much expressed. Education becomes fruitful when each student is accepted with his own views, talents and personality.

The purpose of setting up a school with Swamiji’s ideals is to unfold the latent talent of every individual child. Unfoldment is the prime factor. The jug and mug theory is not education. The child develops like the turning of a ‘bud into a flower.’ When a teacher keeps this in mind while teaching in a class or making one learn something, curricular or co-curricular, he or she attains success.
